Welcome to the Isotx Iron Grip: The Oppression mapping contest, where if you have the skills to create a great Iron Grip map you will be rewarded with some great prizes. The contest will run from December 27, 2006 to February 8, 2007 with judging starting shortly there-after.
All maps submitted must be original works, which means all submitted maps cannot be a conversion from a previously created map. All maps must also fully utilize the unique GamePlay offer by Iron Grip.
The prizes up for grabs are:
First Place: $500 Amazon Gift Certificate
Second Place: Winners choice of either ATI or nVIDIA videocard (appx value $300)
Third Place: Winners choice of 3 EA videogames
In addition all winning maps will be included in the next release of Iron Grip following the mapping contest, giving all winners the ability to place on their resumes the fact that they competed in and won in a mapping contest.
To submit a map send an e-mail along with the map attached to mappingcontest@isotx.com. You must include your Name, E-mail, Map, and Map Description. Once we’ve received your map we will send you a confirmation e-mail, if you do not receive a confirmation e-mail then we did not receive your map and you should sending try again.
Although not a requirement, if you do create a map it would also be nice if you would talk about your map in the special Mapping Contest section on the Isotx forums. It would allow you to get quick feedback on your map before and even after you release your map.
