Continuing with our theme of rapid patches and upgrades, it comes time again for another Iron Grip release! This one's bigger than ever, incorporating two new maps plus updates of old ones, new gameplay, and significant changes for balance and polish. The game is playing very smoothly these days, most of the lag issues are things of the past, and it's really a dream to play. If you havn't played Iron Grip before, it's a groundbreaking total conversion for Half Life 2 that pits an RTS commander with control of an AI army against a band of FPS-perspective rebels who fight a guerrilla war in several maps across a new and developing alternate universe.

what about the constant crashes?
Iron Grip is really underplayed, id play it bunches more if people were online
Crashes are almost nonexistent in this release.
ill have to give this dl a chance. I got my hands on the first release, but never updated it....maybe tonight....
very good release guys, its sad that one this one server that people were blaming the game for the lag to be really horrible, but as soon as this one guy left, there seemed to be no lag at all,
dreams are my reality...didn't I ask for exactely this patch in the Iron Grip thread? I hope Iron Grip gets more players, but on the other hand there are so many great mods - maybe there just aren't enough players to fill all the servers. This year will be the greatest year for mods, I presume. Hopefully the quality will attract some more gamers and fill the servers of mods that deserve to be played. Iron Grip certainly does...
Ill D/L and play later this weekend, SO MANY HL2 mods are being released its insane...
