Hi,
does your Mod support 21:9 Ultra Widescreen?
I have the problem that I just can't get Quake 3 work properly, because it cuts the screen View (almost invisible weapons). Changing the FOC does not fix it.
What can I do? :(

ok. all works except one BIG thing. with standard quake executable i see a good list of servers for online playing. with this executable i see only some few servers.

First of all thank you for your awesome mod, I really don't know why the IQUAKEIII devs doesn't seem to care about the game's correct aspect ratio and fov.

Now, the only problem i'm experiencing with your mod is that my gamma options doesn't seem to be working, every time I play using your exe file the screen automatically starts to get dark, none of the commands I used to change the gamma or the brightness work.

When I use the normal IOQUAKEIII exe file I don't experience that issue.

Do you know how I could fix that? I'm currently using the "Borderless Gaming" app to play with your exe file on borderless fullscreen to avoid the gamme issues, but I really want to play at fullscreen.

In cfg file I included (autoexec.cfg) you need to change /r_gamma "0.9" value in whatever number you want.

After starting the ioquake3.exe and start a new game all my weapons are centered, who can i put them in the default position?

hi, thanks for this wonderful solution. this is actually the client that i use, above all others.
that being said, i am desperately in need of a vanilla q3 client that allows me to use user submitted huds from quake live, or excessive +. i find the hud limitation in vanilla q3 to be extremely frustrating, and i don't know how to code or compile.
the quake live huds use both a .cfg and a .menu, where the .cfg points to items in the .menu code, which makes calls from the ui/assets folder, which doesn't exist in both vq3 and cpma.
is there any way you could please recompile this wonderful client with support for quake live huds, or at least excessive or cpma hud system?
that's really all that's missing, is support for a user defined hud system.
i'm also concerned if there's a way for the player to select vanilla or cpma movement physics , like if it's possible to add the movement selection to the match variables in both sp & mp.
either way, i'd be more than happy to just have the ability to swap out huds.
i've been using this client for a mod i'm working on, which is based on quake champions and other generations of quake.. it's called quake III evolution.
so i'm looking for a client that will allow me to use custom huds, custom menu location, and both cpma and vanilla physics

Sorry, but as you can read I don't made the changes of the code, but only the effects for weapons and ordered files to be ready to play.
