Welcome to the Inanimate TC ModDB page. Inanimate is a Call of Duty Total Conversion inspired by the game 'Dead Space'. It takes place hundreds of years in the future, when the human race has created the technology to survive and live in space. However, something goes wrong, and you (a doctor on board) are left with the horrifying task of defending your life and the spaceship against the hordes of infected crew & friends who are out to kill you.

Work is starting to fire up and the mod is starting to move. We're well on our way to completing mission 1 of the Total Conversion. As you can see from the latest screen-shots, our mapper 'TigerAce' has been working hard and is producing some amazing work. I've also already started, and have completed a lot of the 'Framework'/structure of the mod and its API.

We are still looking for a few more people to add to the team. So if you're an excellent texture/2d artist, modeler, animator or concept artist, please contact me at web[at]exsolved[dot]com. Please, we're only looking for dedicated individuals, so if you're looking for only a couple weeks/months work, you're probably not going to be accepted.

Other than that, I will try to keep you updated regularly, and if you have any questions don't hesitate to add me to xfire: eXsolvedh3.

Thanks,
The Inanimate Team.

Those level shots are looking good TigerAce, nice details and style. Hope the mod isn't hampered by the engine limits. Good to see that there isn't to many custom textures so far. The architecture and detail does prevent the walls looking too bland.

If we run into engine limits there is always work around for everything we do take quality seriously so you guys should not notice any difference.
Custom Textures ain't that important in the beginning it comes as we go and we do want the perfect fitting textures.

I don't do texturing yet, these are simple developer textures for quick in-game testing and to easily find out what lightmaps are wrong (stretching, leaking)
