This project is the continuation of our work in Warband crusade MOD "In the Name of Jerusalem". We will continue to extend and improve the old settings. The new campaign map will expand to the Upper Danube, the Nile Delta, the Dinaric Alps, and Transcaucasia. The Bulgarian Empire and Grand Principality of Serbia will be added. Kingdom of Georgia, the Saltukids and the Artuqids (probably Eldiguzids) may comes later. The timeline still starts from 1187, but we will try to add more interesting historical events until 1204 - including the Fourth Crusade.

In that era the Byzantines were as much Romans as the HRE was actually "Holy", "Roman", or an actual "Empire".

Wrong, many roman citizens (latin or italian natives and granted citizens) lived in the Eastern empire and continued to do so

What the **** are you saying? HRE it was an empire invented many years after the fall of western Rome. In the other hand the EASTERN ROMAN EMPIRE never fell. So how can you say that it is not Roman when it is literally a continuation of it?
Cringe.
