This project is the continuation of our work in Warband crusade MOD "In the Name of Jerusalem". We will continue to extend and improve the old settings. The new campaign map will expand to the Upper Danube, the Nile Delta, the Dinaric Alps, and Transcaucasia. The Bulgarian Empire and Grand Principality of Serbia will be added. Kingdom of Georgia, the Saltukids and the Artuqids (probably Eldiguzids) may comes later. The timeline still starts from 1187, but we will try to add more interesting historical events until 1204 - including the Fourth Crusade.

Oh, ok.
But a Knight going to war with a silk surcoat, isn't that a little unorthodox?
Might need some more research.

nope, totally was a thing, german knights for instance decorated their helms highly with all sorts of things, it wasnt about practicality, it was more about style and bragging. remember, armour in this period is not supposed to be the main source of protection, that would be your shield. the armour is only there to protect you from a otherwise lethal blow, hence decorations werent unpractical at all, and same goes of course also for this silk surcoat. ;)

I still find it hard to agree they only used silk on these, i've read about the satin fabric being used for these surcoats

Satin is one kind of silk, what you see here is a satin material made by myself
