This project is the continuation of our work in Warband crusade MOD "In the Name of Jerusalem". We will continue to extend and improve the old settings. The new campaign map will expand to the Upper Danube, the Nile Delta, the Dinaric Alps, and Transcaucasia. The Bulgarian Empire and Grand Principality of Serbia will be added. Kingdom of Georgia, the Saltukids and the Artuqids (probably Eldiguzids) may comes later. The timeline still starts from 1187, but we will try to add more interesting historical events until 1204 - including the Fourth Crusade.

could it be possible they made eye hole bigger because it's easier to draw the eyes that way? medieval artist's proportions and abilities is sometimes questionable lol

The early facemasks might've evolved out of enlarged nasal helmets, so having large oculars makes sense. Then they gradually get smaller.

Might be the only accurate depiction of the Spoleto helm I've seen. Nicely done!

Apart from units having the historical one, could you keep the "cool" ones in the game for the player? :D

I still think this is cool looking, even cooler since it is historically accurate.

Do you have any other sources beside that painting? I mean, it might be that the painter wasn't very expirenced and made proportions wrong.

I dont really understand, the historical "duck" helmet is entirely based on that piece of medieval art? of there have been found actual helmets like that? i mean, i love the helmet, but both could be perfectly historical valid, since art is always subjected to the artist memory and style

It is very likely that helmet comes in many variations, cant say this one is right and those versions are wrong.

Eye holes look a little too big to me should be about 3/4 the size if you're trying to match it up with the picture. Otherwise it looks great.

To understand this type, you must know it's not really a mask, it's more like thing between a extend nasal and a mask :)
