This project is the continuation of our work in Warband crusade MOD "In the Name of Jerusalem". We will continue to extend and improve the old settings. The new campaign map will expand to the Upper Danube, the Nile Delta, the Dinaric Alps, and Transcaucasia. The Bulgarian Empire and Grand Principality of Serbia will be added. Kingdom of Georgia, the Saltukids and the Artuqids (probably Eldiguzids) may comes later. The timeline still starts from 1187, but we will try to add more interesting historical events until 1204 - including the Fourth Crusade.

What's the Arms of Frederick I. based of? Just curios, because the German crusader flag I know is white on red, but I'm sure you did your research.

I think it's possible the colour of the cross/border on his shield in the manuscript may have tarnished slightly. It looks rather a lot like silver based paint often does in medieval illustrations, in which case maybe the asset in game should be a bright silver (or maybe gold, I'm unsure whether using silver paint to make a cheaper gold substitute was a technique used in period) rather than a grey/black. I think it may be wise not to take the colour as it appears in the image at face value though... The whole mod is great tho, lol, just thought I'd add my 2 pence.

Flickr.com Done a little googling, this seems to be another image of the same miniature, gold colouring very evident, I think the Britannica image is perhaps poorly lit...

This is so beautiful, you guys really had to dive for those historically accurate armor. Reminds me of Angus McBrides 12th century illustrations. Cheers!
