This project is the continuation of our work in Warband crusade MOD "In the Name of Jerusalem". We will continue to extend and improve the old settings. The new campaign map will expand to the Upper Danube, the Nile Delta, the Dinaric Alps, and Transcaucasia. The Bulgarian Empire and Grand Principality of Serbia will be added. Kingdom of Georgia, the Saltukids and the Artuqids (probably Eldiguzids) may comes later. The timeline still starts from 1187, but we will try to add more interesting historical events until 1204 - including the Fourth Crusade.

This is an old version, the new one has the following text:

"Since the Roman reconquest of Cyprus in 965 trade was flourishing, monasteries sprang up like mushrooms and the population grew more cosmopolitan, including not only Greeks, but Armenians, Syrians, Turkopoles and Venetian merchants. However, it was Cyprus' steadily increasing wealth and its relative remoteness that also encouraged several rebellions. The latest one proved to be successful: Isaac Komnenos, who had ruled in Lefkousia, Cyprus' capital, since the turn of 1184, declared himself Emperor in 1185. Isaac Angelos of Constantinople sent a massive fleet to Cyprus to crush the pretender in 1186, but was defeated by Isaac Komnenos' ally, the Sicilian pirate Margaritone of Brindisi. With most of the imperial fleet gone, Isaac established a Cypriote "empire" that even minted coins. But this petty state in the eastern Mediterranean has many problems: its only ally, the kingdom of Sicily, is declining, the crusaders are alienated by Isaac's decision to cease the export of wheat, Saladin is (contrary to crusader propaganda) not exactly fond of Isaac either and his own subjects hate his rule due to his excessive taxation, among other alleged crimes like rape or torture. While Isaac and his companions, primarily Armenian and Turkopole mercenaries, are bathing in wealth the common population is suffering. Without proper consolidation Isaac's rule may be brushed aside by a foreign invasion rather sooner than later."

Cilician Principilaty and Antioche were qutie good allies of him, they were supposed to give allegeance to Constantinople but Isaac Kommenos claiming himself Emperor they decided give Allegeance to him instead. And yes he was not at all an ally of Saladin. Richard Lionheart got endoctrined by Greeks inhabitants of Rhodes(that was part of Roman empire) convincing him that Isaac Kommenos is a muslim ally and Richard decided to crush him badly. Which didn't make Cilicia and Antioche happy also Kingdom of Jersualem was quite surprised of this move: he was in fact good ally of crusaders.
