These are the responses I made for the LTX-133 Dragon in the SC1 rendition of ITAS. They are a good example of heavier Undead voice acting that is extremely...
Yet another track from the Fury OST. This one resembles future Undead tracks. This was composed entirely freehand using a keyboard.
A track from the Fury OST. This is the theme of one of the main characters from my novel "Throne of Armageddon". It is heavily oriental inspired...
Another music track composed a while back, titled 'Baletongue, and the Spirestorm'. A part of the Fury OST, music composed in direct relation...
Well, I've recently acquired a ridiculously powerful computer. The offset of this is that maya is refusing to work, so the lack of updates continue.
I am also no longer so confident that SC2 will be able to handle this mod. Blizzard's stance on modding is gross at best, and it seems unlikely sc2 will have the features that this mod will require to reach its full potential, such as hardpoint systems and advanced AI capabilities.
So I am considering switching to supreme commander. FA will decide what I do, I think.
When SC2 rolls around the only major things we'll need to worry about are animations, coding, and the actual modding. I'll be able to learn the code, and the game should be easy to master like sc and wc3 are, so really there isn't much to worry about.
At this time we are creating SFX, models, textures, ect... the things that usually slow mods down in acquiring. So, this should hopefully move quite fast when sc2 is released.
You don't need the game itself to prepare assets for a mod. So at this moment, everything that can be made without the game is being made, which oddly enough, happen to include 3d models, precisely what IskatuMesk has been posting up.
How can you mod a game that has not been released yet?
In the event I vanish for several months to a year; this project is not dead.
There will be buildings, stations, and ships. I considered adding ground units but decided against it for two major reasons -
- The unit count for races is already going to be very high (20-40 each).
- Most people will use ships anyway.
So far ive only seen space units are there also going to be ground units and buildings/spacestations in?
I believe the new SC2 editor is called scumedit.
I sure hope so. Right now the things I am most concerned about are -
- The moddability of computer AI (Blizzard has always taken the hardcoded route with everything past build orders before)
- Hardpoint system (Will I actually be able to give a unit 100 cannons? Very, very important)
- Map sizes and the ability to add races (I'd prefer a minimum of 512x512 mapsize, and the ability to add races is extremely important as well)
Unfortunately there's no way I can get that information out of blizzard, so only time will tell.
your in luck for this mod blizzard has in the most part assured the modding community that the new StarEdit (don't know actual program name) will be more mod friendly and that some SC1 units have models (which implies more ease of use)
