In The Admiral's Service: Ultimate Showdown was initially planned for Starcraft 2, but as Blizzard continually shut out modders, I looked for greener pastures. Supreme Commander seems quite inviting for a total conversion intending to change the game into a giant fleet battle game of biblical proportions, so let's give it a shot, yes?

Description

The Spirestorm is a horrifying opponent, dwarfing
most other superships with its enormous
energy-metal frame. While slow, the Spirestorm
possesses an extremely deadly close-range attack
and is difficult to destroy. The Spirestorm also
possesses an ability to lock out the movement
capabilities of all nearby enemy ships, preventing
escape from it or allied vessels.

Due to the nature of its special weapon, the
Spirestorm requires support in large engagements,
where there is many enemy vessels to deal with. It
excels in old-school Battleship shootouts, where
its incredible amount of Hull Points and Armor
Density provide it near invulnerability against
smaller ships.

When it attacks, the Spirestorm has a random
chance to trigger a Rogue Shard, that deals
massive damage to the target.

In ITAS 0.2 for SC1, the Spirestorm was legendary
for its durability. In Sc2, the new Undead
mechanics will allow it to have a little more
maneuverability so getting it across the
battlefield isn't such a pain.

This model is considered beta. How it'll
appear in SC2 will be decided by the engine's
capabilities.
