I was one never to care about seeing arms. I always prefer the weapon close to the characters view with less obstruction to the screen.

Please, no legs without steps sounds

As Emmet Otter said, a less obstruction to the screen is fine in stalker series.

You don't exactly have to make legs,but i really enjoy the handling of weapons (running and realoading animations). Oh this is outdated. You probably made a decision already.
