In this new version of Imperial Splendour - Rise of the Republic, a mod for Empire: Total War, we expanded the campaign starting in 1783.
Play as one of 6 Nations with historical persons such as Nelson or Jacques Necker and many new units.

We added 4 new nations (USA, Prussia, Hannover and Saxony) to play with and really hope you'll enjoy this new version!

Rise of the Republic 1.1 comes with an installer so installing is easier as in the previous version.
You need to have 8 GB space on the hard drive where your installation of ETW is!
And if you have installed ofter mods you need to unistall them first.
Rise of the Republic 1.1 is a stand-alone!
You need to install the 2 Patches too, to able to play the campaign properly!

1. Download the new version
2. Extract the files from the RotR 1.1.zip file whereever you want.
3. Double click on the Imperial.Splendour_Install.exe file (perheps you need to give the file admin allowence or let windows access it. If a firewall window pops up, click on further information and allow the file to be executed. No worries these are just the windows defender settings for unknown files.)
4. Follow the steps in the installer
5. At the end of the process the installer creates a Imperial Splendour shortcut on your desktop
Congrats you installed IS: RotR 1.1!
Click on the Imperial Splendour shortcut on your desktop and give admin allowence if you're asked to. When you first start the launcher you'll see the ETW lettering. This means vanilla ETW is activated. Click on switch to activate Rise of the Republic. Then click on play and Rise of the Republic will start.
Once you've started a campaign, don't declare war or make peace in the first round, this will corrupt your campaign!
If encounter technical problems with the launcher / installer please always attach the is-launcher.log or IS_Installer.log file to your posts because this file gives us clear information of what has gone wrong. Without that file we are not able to help you properly.
The file is in the same folder as the imperial.splendour.exe or Imperial.Splendour_Install.exe.
The waiting is finally over! This may a sigh that will get IS 3.0 soon?

Do you had any mods installed previously? Otherwise please sent me screenshots from you data folder, campaigns/imperial splendour folder and AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly\Empire\scripts folder.

Ahem I'm having a bit of a problem...when I opened up my downloaded files I noticed that there was no Installer.exe only a uninstaller and a launcher.
the installer is not in the IS_Files folder, it's outside it and should therfore be in the folder in which you extracted the .zip file, so as example on your desktop if you extracted the files on your desktop.
Btw do you guys have a sort of comprehensive installation tutorial or something of the like?

I was able to get mod to start but am getting random graphical glitches during battles. Almost like pop-up blocks that disappear when you zoom in. When downloading the mod I received a message saying corrupt campaign models pack. Tried re-downloading twice but same issue.. perhaps that's what's causing graphical glitch?

Hi there, I've installed rotr but when I try and switch it does nothing?
the lettering should change from Empire Total War to IS-RotR which means RotR is activated
Awesome mod, just a few questions though if I may,
1. Is the US the only playable faction? All other factions just have the description "Not Playable".
2. This is the continuation of the Imperial Splendour mod right? A version 3 if you may.
3. The UI is a little bit out of place, is that known or just a bug on my side?

No, just for the launcher. You can install the mod manually too.

This is a stand-alone, you do not need IS 2.2.1b.

1.Delete the shortcut.
2. Search for the Imperial.Splendour.exe via the search tool.
3. When you found it click right on the .exe, go to "sent to" and click on desktop.
4. then there should be a new sortcut on your desktop
when i search for the EXE it says "no objects found"
ill just delete and reinstall i guess.

the IS_FileList.txt file is missing, it has to be in the same folder as the Install.exe.
question, why are all of the native warriors the same? None of them have melee weapons and they all look the same and have muskets. what happened to the clubs and bows?
We did not rework the Natives. They are still the as in previous versions of IS.

Thank you:) And no, Norway won't be playable. Sorry. I know that the state Norway existed back in the 18th century butas far as I'm aware of it was barly non existing as a independent state. Norway was part of the Denish state so you have to play Denmark in order to play Norway.
