Imperial Splendour attempts to create the best Empire: Total War experience possible without destroying the essence of the game, with an eye towards expanding and enriching the experience, while adding to the game's realism whenever possible. IS 2.2.1b focus on Britain and France, adding two periods so as to allow an evolution of the uniforms. IS made also a large rework on the visual and sound aspect so as to make ETW as enjoyable as last TW games. The CAI and BAI are totally reviewed, the Great Campaign is now really more challenging, and it will be difficult for you to impose to the World your imperial splendour.
Description
This is just a reupload of the RotR 1.1 with the 3 patches included. Nothing new is included. So if you haven't installed RotR before this is for you. If you already have installed RotR 1.1 please download the patches. Detailed install instructions are in the description, as well as emergency instruction on how to install the mod manually.
6. At the end of the process, the installer asks if you want creates an Imperial Splendour shortcut on your desktop and afterward, if you want to launch RotR

I have an issue, one the Spanish south american militia unit textures or meshes are all messed up. Second i think there is a unit that Spain has that keeps crashing the game every time i try to fight out a battle with them.
Can you narrow down which unit it is? This would be really helpfull!

I got a crash every time i try to pass the turn with the USA campaign at the 14th turn.
Strangely, it happens each time when austria is doing his own turn.
Did you only installed the file provided above?
why are missing some major factions to play like Austria or Ottoman empire and there is the minor faction Saxony!!! If someone will to play as Saxony and no as Austria-Hungary.. In 1783 there were Austrian empire and Ottoman both.
They are just not yet reworked. We enabled only those Factions which have been reworked.

I am playing as France, currently year 1795, major bug is that I cannot recruit units in any region except for generals and militia. Does not matter that I have full army buildings or cannon buildings.
Any thoughts on how to fix? Is it related to the period change over perhaps?

This should not happen. The units were available before that date?
I remember that happening to me as well. When I played France or Sweden I couldn't upgrade my military buildings to the highest level because then it wouldn't show any soldiers in the recruitment tab. Weirdly enough it didn't happen to any other country for me.
It seems like 2 different bugs. But in general the units are not limited to a certain timeframe and / or building level. I tried to reproduce the bug but I didn't have had success so it's still a mystery to me.

Hi I want to download I never have downloaded the RotR before do I need anything else or just the reupload? And does this mod change the battle play any? Im manly looking for a mod to stop the mindless enemy charges among other things this one being most important. Thanks.
It's just the reupload and the Battle AI hasn't been touched since 2.2.1b.
Man i've had so much trouble trying to download you mod. Probably just me I'm new to computers. I tried the 1.1.9b reload tried to extract the files got a x80004005 error. So I tried 1.1 and just download the patches. tried to install 1.1 I have no (g.e. C:/Progeam Flies/steam/steamapp/commom/Empire Total War) file or at lest I cant find it. If i just manually type it in it just does nothing. I can use other file but I go to launch the game and tells me the file name is spelled wrong and I go to files and one file is gone and I cant re extract it. what do i need to do?
Try to use 7zip to extract the file.
And it's a folder, the one you installed ETW in. If you can't find it, use the search function of windows it might be helpful. Depending on your windows version you can copy the file path and insert in the installer.
You simply need to click on open to proceed.
okay I looked up in to it the folder I have for ETW is a shortcut folder is all I could find ill try what you said and see. Ill probably end up having my friend look at it. thanks again for the help im not good with computers xbox 360 more of my thang but ive seen videos for you mod looks pretty cool cant wait to play it.
If you have an ETW desktop shortcut click right on it select properties an have a look at the shown path. There you should find it.

The logo should switch. If it doesn't there is a log file in the etw folder can you please post it here?
i followed all the directions and i clicked on switch then i clicked played but nothing happens

I click play when I switch to Imperial Splendur and it goes to the launcher title credit but then it closes...
Check if after switch the files are in the data, imperial_splendour and scripts folder?
Is it known when you guys will be working on factions like Prussia and make it playable?
Prussia is playable in this version.

In my game it says Prussia is Not Playable so I don't know if I downloaded something wrong but anyways I love the work you guys are doing its a great mod

Made it all the way to where I can click play. ETW attempts to load, then crashes to desktop. At least this problem is consistent. Vanilla works but the Imperial Splendor version constantly CTD.
Did you have any other mods installed befpre installing RotR? If yes check your data folder if there are any modfiles left.
If not check if all files of the user-script are in the datafolder after activation and if the user script is at its place. More details on this are here under "if you don't want to use the installer"

I never downloaded Imperial Splendour before. Is RoTR just the latest version of Imperial Splendour or is it a seperate mod?
It's essentially the late campaign of IS. But we currently only working on the late campaign.
So I don't know if this is known even though this is kind of useless thing... During a Prussian Campaign I had rebels in Hanover and for some reason the Hanoverian Calvary was covered in red yeah its a little picky thing but I just wanted to let you guys know

Don't work. Apparently your installer is not reading IS_FileList.txt. I downloaded your reupload . tried to follow the instructions but what i got was different from what you showed. Thanks for wasting my time.

I really like this mod so far. But one thing really turns me off, the AI uses fire by rank, so they have basically triple the firepower i have. This is really unfair to play like this
Fire by rank will be disabled and all ranks will fire at will to allow denser formations.
Installed it correctly so i click the launcher than click swap and nothing happens so i click play empire loads to the first loading screen than crashes what the hell ?
