Imperial Reign is a Star Wars total conversion to the critically acclaimed Company of Heroes and its expansions Opposing Fronts and Tales of Valor. Set in the Star Wars universe, Imperial Reign is about the Imperial occupancy of the Outer Rim worlds (i.e. Tatooine, Lok, Rori, etc) and the constant war as the Rebels fight to liberate the galaxy of tyranny. This conversion aims to bring a type of grittiness and intensity never before seen in a Star Wars game or mod. Company of Heroes engine is suited perfectly for this and serious Star Wars and RTS fans alike will undoubtedly have a blast.
"A small explosive with a remote activator that can be triggered by the user. The pack can be set in place or thrown, and then detonated whenever the user desires.
Typically, this is used to ambush enemies or blow open sealed doors. Some detonation packs are equipped with a 3 second timer device."
Cool I can see many possibilities both with rebels and empire to set traps and bait enemies into explosive outcomes.
You should probably do those grooves in the texture rather than the model: that's a lot of polies for a small bit of detail on a VERY small weapon (this is for infantry, right?). Ingame, people won't notice the difference, and it'll make uving it easier.
That's what I'm going to do. I wanted to make it a little nicer to show in texture-less render, but it still resides in the poly limit, only 300 or so.
