Imperial Reign is a Star Wars total conversion to the critically acclaimed Company of Heroes and its expansions Opposing Fronts and Tales of Valor. Set in the Star Wars universe, Imperial Reign is about the Imperial occupancy of the Outer Rim worlds (i.e. Tatooine, Lok, Rori, etc) and the constant war as the Rebels fight to liberate the galaxy of tyranny. This conversion aims to bring a type of grittiness and intensity never before seen in a Star Wars game or mod. Company of Heroes engine is suited perfectly for this and serious Star Wars and RTS fans alike will undoubtedly have a blast.
BurtondrummerNY's Rebel skin edit of an Ally soldier. (WIP)
Good
you should definitely use the endor themed rebels. i'm really excited this mod has begun.
agreed. endor themed would look better!
(buried)
Ummmmm how exactly when its taking the timeline of 3-5? your telling me that the rebels occupied endor after the rise of the empire? my tittys.
i think dirtydel means endor-themed as forest camo
I'll give him a forest camo uniform if you can get me some reference pictures (is it just olive drab, or what?)
Good skins.
its a great start.
Man that looks awsome and i hope best wishes that the mod fins within 2 years:P
honestly i think u should use the big goofy hat wearing rebels as the main infantry, and use a changed up version of the endor uniform for snipers, but im wondering if its possible to have the uniforms change according to what map your playing on, having the rebel snow fatigues for a fight on a hoth map perhaps, and the endor uniforms for the endor map. is that possible with company of heroes?
Now i think about it Didnt the Endor Commandos wear the Same Uniforms as the Rebels at the battle of Hoth just in Forestcammo ?
Might be Totaly wrong ^^ but if im right that uniform design definitly should be the way to go
Pretty close. It was similar infantry kit, just the uniform was weatherproofed.
Lucky that the Rebel gun here IS an STG-44 with a few little bits thrown on to make it look more 'space-y'. Same thing with almost all the Star Wars guns really. Just need to alter some of the original weapons abit. Except the M1 Garand, which Pruneface was carrying in the Return of the Jedi during the briefing scene. Lol. I bet no one really caught that.
