ideal Half-Life (в сокр. iHL, iLambda) - Модификация графического уровня. В роли улучшения графики играют главным образом модели. Но не только они. Мод включает в себя измененные оружия, новейшие звуки, новейший HUD, шейдерный рендеринг и многое другое. Измененных локаций очень мало. Этот проект является "выжатым на максимум" возможной графики GoldSource, главными разработчиками которого стали Dark-Moon Team, а создатель проекта - Dark-Moon Pein.
iHL является смесью всей игровой линии Half-Life (HL1, HL:S, HL2 + episodes) и даже сторонним ремейком на движке Source - Black Mesa. Сюжетная линия приходится на первый Half-Life, а некоторые оружия на HL2, Black Mesa. Лишь 2 оружия видоизменены: это Ак47 и Desert Eagle.
Несмотря на все это, ideal Half-Life единственный графо-моделированный ремейк в котором используется чуть ли не вся детализация.
