As the title speaks, what possibly could be creepier than being the only man left on the planet?
In this total conversion modification for Half-Life, you play as a troubled man by the name of Mark Peters not knowing what the hell is going on. Through personal journals and also flashbacks, you gain knowledge of your surroundings and also about the character you play as.
This mod is currently being developed by a one man army, and I will accept any help along the way of development. Everything you see currently is a WIP and is continuously being worked upon, I will upload as much media as I believe would be a necessity without spoiling the actual game.

Q: Why are you doing this for HL1 when you should be doing it for HL2?
A: I'm an old school moron, cant ya just leave me alone on that question? ;P
Q: Does this have anything to do with AOM? I see a dark forest there... o.o
A: Noes, I have my own storyline even though it takes place in a forest. No painkillers for this mod :P

If you're wondering if this mod is dead.. the answer is yes.
Why? Well its simply because this would never turn out to be a good mod. The FPS level was critically low after I ended trying out adding some eye candy. Goldsrc was never meant for this sort of thing, it would be impossible to accomplish what I want on a 10 year old engine. If I want to make something good and noticeable in the modding community, I need to move to Source.. or some other newer engine that's able to handle a lot more **** than this one. We all need to face the facts and to realize that we won't always be able to work with the Goldsrc engine.
Sorry guys, and wish me better luck with my next mod.

With Source you'll be able to make really nice puzzels.

Are you using Paranoia's renderer btw dude? Seems every man and his dog use that now.. including me *cough* :P
yeah paranoia is overused i know, but its a great SDK and gives me the **** i need. Unless something 'magical' happens, I'll be using Paranoia's code in this mod.
I'm using HLFX because of the water reflections and other effects.The bad thind about it is that it has nothing to do with SoHL and that the HLFX SDK is not released.
If you want this mod to different,try adding puzzels to the mod,and don't add any violence.I'd like to play a mod with many puzzels(like Research and development) using only a mele weapon.
If you need modelers,any Source modeler can join you,because you can convert Source models to GoldScr.Here is a tutoril how to do it: Snarkpit.net You can also make the Cry of Fear's modeler to join you.Or you can learn modeling your self.

umm.. i know how to model and code, its only the textures that are a pain for me :P
Also about the violence, there's a simple little command called mature_enable, when you switch it to 1, you get a whole shitload of gore. When you switch it to 0, you don't see anything, not even a single drip of blood.
I'm not sure why you made such a big deal about this, yes I intend to add puzzles here and there, even ridiculously tough ones if you insist.
Anyway, this is my mod and I can make whatever way I wish, so please don't try to exchange my ideas with yours, use your OWN ideas in your OWN mod.
