I wrote: Look guys, sometimes, people just pop. Me, because of pressure from my fellow modders to create things from them, and not having a partner. Well, I DO have a partner, but he's was busy. It's just so much stress, and I'm not used to it. I just popped.

I mod because it's what I love to do. Indeed, it's not the most fun things ever, but it's among them. But it is very hard, and I feel uncredited. It's not your duty to comment, but I encourage it, not only for me, but for all modders. It makes the mod better. Even world-class developers need to know what we're doing wrong. From the bottom of my heart, I apologize. I'll understand if you stop tracking the mod altogether, but please don't become an enemy. I'm only 14. I know that's no excuse, but it's the truth. I learnt something very valuable, but I wish it hadn't been at such a cost as to lose friends.

That's the actitude. I'm tracking you because you proved to be a real modder. Good luck for all you encounter in modding and in life too, of course. But this is not final as you can imagine. I think it's clear that if you don't act in an appropriated way I won't feel like tracking your work. Buuut that is not likely to happen.

Thanks. Hopefully, I won't go through one of these stressful moments anytime soon. And if I do, I won't start this again.

People who don't appreciate what you do aren't worth being your friends. You do good. It's not easy to produce something almost on your very own, with everything made of scratch. It's never easy to create something, but it's pretty easy to criticize or destroy someone else's work.
Even though I don't post much, I'm still out there watching your progress. And I'll always be. Feel free to write me if you feel like, we can have a chat.

Thanks for standing up for me. But actually, I now understand those who don't comment. It's not their fault that I made this mod. It's not their duty as mortals (again, not saying I'm a god), to comment. For all they know, it could end up being the worst mod ever, even over BOOM (No offense Boom devs).

On the other hand, I think they should understand us. It's hard, especially for lone modders. Comments aren't necessary, but they're unbelievably useful. The pain is very small compared to the gain.

So, I'm just asking that you do comment. If you don't, I understand completely.

If someone criticizes, that's what I want. But only if it's truthful. Trolls on the other hand, I don't want. I will not put up with them, and will retaliate (attack back), except only harder.

Thanks to the whole community for putting up with this break down of mine. Won't happen again!

Here's an example. When I heard there was a Prince of Persia movie, I was very happy. It's one of my favorite games. But I DID think that it MIGHT be bad. Later, I found out it was HORRIBLE compared to the game. Sure, it's a good movie, but it has NOTHING to do with the game. They wasted so much potential.

Another example: Heart of Evil : Napalm. We all thought it was going to be awesome. It's still a good mod, but not as good as we'd though it'd be.

Bottom line: For me, now, it's hard to believe every single mod that looks good is good. And not everything that looks bad is bad. Don't judge a book by it's cover. Pie...no, not pie. THE PIE IS A LIE.

Anyways, thanks. I'll try bring it out soon.

Before: karma points, now.. comments. Oh, again Dex?? I thought this issue was solved already, I'll try harder:

The best thing you can do here is stop modding, and go talk with someone about your low self-esteem issues. No kidding. It will help you out. Read my lips: you-can-not-ask-for-feedback. Feedback happens or just doesn't.

If you don't feel like talking with someone, then, do better media. Show and don't tell. People doesn't care that much about tech stuff and we can't do nothing about it and it's totally fine.

Like "Oh, I've made an entity which can trigger another entity with custom flags which also can retrieve stuff from liblist.gam and switch two times left the header of p7r files and encode them. And works for Mac" That just don't sells, but it's okay. I've made thosands of stuff like this but I don't show it because of what I've said.

You should stop trying to impress people with fancy stuff they can't understand without having to research for 10 minutes.

Sounds like a rude comment but sometimes you need a reality check.. and you want comments... so...

Well, SysOp, I kinda stopped. This was about trying to apologize for what I did. I realized what I did. But it is nice to get comments once in a while. Plus, it's true, the criticism DOES help a lot. With the karma - If it keeps going down for no reason, something's wrong. I try to make peace with the person, or set them straight if they're just trolls.

Well, in the first half life you just push the doors >.< like you know, with your hand, how you push a not closed door ? but still i think handles would make more sense now.

So all the doors in BM are pushable doors or sliding doors? The problem was the graphics needs. People didn't care to see handles. Now it's almost necessary in the newer games.

Description

So, in Half-Life, you go to a door, and open it by...telepathy? Well, now, have HANDLES! You can use any model, even barney as a handle. The purpose of the entity is to make detailed buttons. It will probably mainly be used as a model. I'll even make an animation property (the only reason it's not v1). The model is temporary, an Opposing Force rope. It's the smallest thing I could find. Soon, today or tomorrow, I'll try make some videos.
