Hello everyone! Hopefully you all know that Hell's Reach released on Tuesday this week and I can assure you that it is a lot of fun! If you haven't gotten it already put some money aside from your budget of big holiday games and grab Hell's Reach, it's well worth it especially if you play it with friends.
Now as promised I have some WIP pictures to show off my new map: TH-Invasion, which is of course my first custom map for Hell's Reach. Originally I designed it on paper to be a re-imagining of TH-Shrine, however it quickly evolved into something different and Invasion will bring a unique style of game-play to Hell's Reach that the base maps don't provide. The environments for the game are built around the idea of constant flow and room to move, that's how the Haunted's game-play works: movement. Invasion will maintain that type of game-play, but it will do it in a more open fashion as opposed to the somewhat maze-like maps already in the game.
Some of you may have already seen these pictures, as I recently posted them here today, but for the rest of you please understand these are WIP. Take note that the pictures were taken in game-view and they look a bit weird because I have a default post process volume, in other words I just made the volume and haven't done anything it yet. Once again WIP.
There you have it. What you see here is the open area that will become the map, and the surrounding scenery that will provide the lovely backdrop.
