The goal of this mod is to bring back the units from the original Homeworld into the Homeworld 2 engine, with high quality texture and polycount detail. The campaign and animatics from the original game will also be included.

The camera movement could be smoother as it tours the scaffold, and the debris in the skybox. In that level it was all pretty clear with just the sun and the planet in the background.

The debris has since been removed or is in the process of being removed. The camera movement will be smoother in the final version - Don't worry.

Now this makes me smile. I really appreciate the glow maps and detailing on the scaffold and banana. Proper shadows and higher detail backgrounds make everything pop, too. Wonderful work guys.

Still some hiccups to work out, one not yet mentioned is "alligning" the MS/Scafford with the galactic plane. I'd also like to see some minor scaffold animations and smoke/steam effects when the MS disengages from the scaffold.

Are you all going to recycle the black-and-white animatics from HW1, or are you thinking of redoing those as well?

Love the work you guys are doing just wish i could actually be part of a mod team instead of being solo for a change. You know it would be interesting if there were possible to port your mod over to the new HW 2.
