The goal of this mod is to bring back the units from the original Homeworld into the Homeworld 2 engine, with high quality texture and polycount detail. The campaign and animatics from the original game will also be included.

Yes, M1 is done, but we have been struggling with Non-Interactive Sequences, aka NIS. We will probably release the way M1 and M2 are. There's one final tweaking over the Turanic attacks and we will release the way it is. I'm gonna discuss internally for a new HWR Inside to tell about the next week.

Do I see humanoid forms floating around as "debris"?

I do hope you get NIS working. Perhaps not for this release, but eventually.

Sacrifice... that's propaganda for you. They had no idea they'd encounter hostile forces, nor did they give their lives willingly for a cause.

Well the nis work, in fact they work so well that we can't stop it to go back to the game :p...

Such NIS scenes (lol the word makes me think of NCIS crime scenes :V) were in HW2 if I remember correctly, like when Cpt. Soban first comes to help you. Shouldn't there be any hints to help you in the mission script there?

There should, we just can't find them, some of the commands they use don't work.

I'll answer this, no, not in any way shape or form, all the news is is awesome sauce news, but it won't effect the production, pace, or quality of the mod.

Here here!

But even if they do screw it up, let's hope they release modding tools so fans can fix it.

Is it just me, or does the space dust look like actual DUST instead of little brown blocks? If so, LIKE.

(I love this game, Ive played it since I was six and I still love it)

Oh wait, nevermind. I didnt read the description proper y and failed to realise that it was HW1 in HW2, not HW1 upgraded. My bad :)
