Happy New Year!
First of all, I'd like to wish everyone reading this a happy new year! I hope 2009 will be a good year for all of you in which you can make your dreams into reality or at least get one step closer to doing so. Of course, let's also hope we can have some awesome updates to look forward to regarding the FX mod. I've heard rumors of a showcase video for the upcoming v1.84 being worked on right now, so let's hope we can see it on this page soon.
Screenshot Competition
The screenshot competition of 2008 was a great success just like the one we had in 2007, we got many good looking screenshots to judge, but in the end only one can win. This year, for the second time in a row, Mokona won with his entry that shows a Progenitor fleet. I have submitted the top 3 entries to our modDB page, you can view them in the 'Images' section.

Forum Updates
Even with Christmas and New Year's Eve we have been working at the forum just so those of you who frequent the forum may begin 2009 in style. Today we launched a new modification, the well-known IBStore, but as usual we like to do things the professional way, or at least the best we can.
We have also re-organized several categories and section, keeping the preparations for a future Clans & Guilds system, more tournaments and use of the Battle Arena in mind. Of course, ideas are one thing but making them into reality is another. That is where we need to help of you guys. If you have nothing to do, take a look around the forum and post something, or create something for us to post in. We would appreciate it.
Last but not least, I'd like to thank everyone for their support in the past, present and hopefully also the future. On a good 2009 and a good year for FX.
