Description
This is the Bentusi destroyer I recently made. The texture took me lots of time and I tried to strike a balance between the different style of Bentusi in HW1&HW2. Hope you like it:)
This is the brand new Bentusi Destroyer I made. I've spent a long time on texture trying to get a new, balanced style rather than simply following HW1 or HW2's Bentusi. All these details are drawn pixel by pixel. Hope you like it!

Fantastic model and superb textures, your hard work really shows. Not really a fan of the vertical orientation, but other than that it's great.
nice how you were able to follow the original curved organic sea shell/crab design while injecting something new and never seen before to the bentusi.
Maybe it's just me, but it almost seems to draw inspiration from the Bentusi Tradeships you see at least twice in Homeworld: Cataclysm (they also appeared in Homeworld 1, but they play a more direct role in Cataclysm as I've heard). Not that this is a bad thing, I'm just thinking that I'm seeing a resemblance, somewhat.
Though I could be mistaken, I dunno.

what release version is this planned for?
I do think it'd look better if rotated to have a horizonal orientation. Otherwise the model design and especially the texture work are superb.
Looks very reminiscent of a Centauri Warship from Babylon 5, if you take those upper wings and add them again on the sides, shorten the ones up top and make her nose a little longer.
