First of all, I'd like to thank leaf for taking the time to make this translation. It's possibly even better than the one in FX 1.88.
I did however find a few things which could be be improved (see below)

Translation Errors

  • Taiidan Resource Collector and Controller type is not specified (should probably be "utility"/"non-combat")
  • Taiidan Array Sensor should be renamed "Sensors Array", like in vanilla HW
  • The build, research and launch tabs are written in capital letters ("BUILD"), but the new coating tab only has the first letter a capital letter ("Coating")
  • It says in the description that Turanic Raiders Attack Carrier and HeavyGun Cruiser are weak against "super capital ships", but I saw no ship with that type in the game (see Dreadnaught and Sajuuk below).
  • Turanic Raiders HeavyGun Cruiser's fire control module has not been translated and reads $9375 (I assume it's a fire control module because of the icon)
  • Kadeshi Command Pod is named Support Pod in the population info and when selected after it is built. Either is fine, but I suggest you name this ship Fuel Pod, instead of the other utility ship, because this is basically a classic Fuel Pod (if we assume refuel = fire control tower) that can produce ships

Suggestions

  • I believe the name for the type "air force" should be "strike craft", as it is used in vanilla HW2.
  • The type "auxiliary" can be attributed to any ship in the fleet, not only utility ships, as all ships are auxiliary to the mothership (see the HW1 manual). I suggest renaming it to "utility" or "non-combat".
  • Taiidan Research Ship, Research Station and Sensor Array type is "building", which is unfitting and should probably be renamed to "production" or "platform"
  • Kadeshi Fuel Pod should be renamed, because its role is that of a mobile refinery and has nothing to do with fuel (perhaps "Processor Pod" is a better fit, which takes after the Processor unit in HW Cataclysm)
  • Some Kadeshi fighters and corvettes have the "mini unit" type. I believe the lore-friendly term is "microship", after the class of the hive swarmers of the hive frigate in homeworld cataclysm
  • Kadeshi Armed Infiltrate Pod should be renamed to Armed Infiltration Pod or Armed Infiltrator Pod (the Armed part could also be left out, as it distracts from the ship's main role)
  • I think the Khar-Toba should be renamed to Prison Ship, because that is the type of ship it is. Khar-Toba is just the name of one of the prison ships that landed on Kharak.
  • Turanic Raiders Outpost has the War Module, which improves the Warfare Rank, which is probably refering to the Ship Level. I suggest keeping similar names to avoid confusion (ex: Warfare Module, Military Rank, Military Rank)

Note
I have yet to understand what makes a ship of the "battleship" type. I saw both frigates and capital ships sometimes having this type. This term is not used in any vanilla HW games and in real life, the battleship is the heaviest class of warship that has ever been built, so it would be unfitting to give a frigate the "battleship" type. Please help me understand this better.
As far as I know:
strike craft = fighters, corvettes
frigates are their own class (although in HW1 they are considered capital ships)
capital ships = super capital ships, all production ships larger than frigates
super capital ships = destroyers, carriers, cruisers
non-combat = platforms, utility
I'm not sure if motherships are considered capital ships, super capital ships or are their own class.

Hope this helped!

EDIT: I forgot to play Progenitors, so now that I have, I have a few things to mention:

Translation Errors:

  • I noticed that Dreadnaught and Sajuuk have "Super Capital Ship" written in their description, but not in their type, in which is written Large Battleship, which is a bit confusing, considering that Turanic Raiders HeavyGun Cruiser and Attack Carrier are weak to the super capital ship type.
  • Progenitor Resource Collector, Mobile Refinery and Advanced Probe lack a type. It should probably be "utility" or "non-combat"
  • The Arsenal Ship is called Sniper in the population info tab
  • The Arbiter is called Arbitrator in the population info tab and when selected in-game (I assume Arbiter is the intended name)
  • Pyramid - Phased Cannon Array is called Pyramid - Array Cannon in the population info tab and when selected in-game (I assume Pyramid - Phased Cannon Array is the intended name)
  • Guard and Welder are called Guard Frigate and Welder Frigate in the build tab (I assume Guard and Welder were the intended names
  • Sajuuk does not appear in the population info tab (not sure if this is a text error or a coding bug)

Suggestions

  • Destroyer is a misleading name for a frigate (could be confused with the destroyer-class ships of other races). I suggest "Impaler", because of it's ion cannons which are metaphorically like spears, if you will.
  • All Pyramids, The Hand That Shapes and Phase Prism have the "Building" type which I suggest renaming to "Platform" or perhaps "Production", whichever is more appropriate.

I saw that there are also Mini Battleships and Large Battleships, adding to my confusion :(
