Half-Life Coop is a mod for Half-Life 1 that adds a cooperative mode to the game's campaign. Unlike other coop mods like Svencoop or DC coop, it does not change important aspects about the game, because the objective of this mod is to be compatible with the servers of Half-Life 1 and keep it as vanilla as possible.

Has some minor flaws but overall it pretty much perfectly achieves what it set out to do. I love to have a non tinkered with coop version available to play for that 100% authentic hl experience. Very nice! Bless!

This is a pretty cool vanilla coop mod for Half-Life!
So here's the thing, I downloaded this mod years ago and disliked it because I didn't know how it worked. I thought it was broken and abandoned...
But now, years later, here I am, finishing not only the campaign but also the Hazardous Course and even Uplink with my little cousin!
I played it with Xash FWGS (old engine) on my android and he on his pc (this fork of Xash is crossplatform), I really wanted a cool coop mod for Xash mobile, and this just works! Well, kinda.
I literally wasted half a day putting this thing to work, trying to figure out how that "changedlevel to hldm1" problem could be solved (I commented the solution on this mod's page, just look up for it) and fixing some other problems (xashwise I guess).
I don't recommend using this mod's skill.cfg, it makes the enemies hella spongy and very deadly too! Vorties sometimes killing me with full health! (probably headshots).
Some maps from the Half-Life campaign were cut, but it won't ruin your experience at all! You can still play the whole thing from start to finish!
Also, this mod could have a zipped version too, making it easier to install on pc and even on android.
At the end of the day, it works, and if you want to play on mobile, it's not a bad option, I can't recall any good coop mod for Xash...
This mod isn't supposed to be Sven Coop, don't be too harsh with it!
