You do a lot of great work for the Half-Life Community, mate. I never realised that there was so many custom maps for the game until I subscribed to your 'ModDB' channel.

Do you have the original mod installed from Steam?

Yes, tried install from steam twice. Also added a Bin folder to Mod since that is the standard fix for that error. But still did not work.

try installing Source SDK 2013 Singleplayer and set it to the "upcoming" branch.

It is installed, and betas is set to upcomming. It has been that way. MMod does not work for Mods that are installed in the Common folder(via Steam). It does not work for Entropy Zero either, this has same error.

Ok, did it. Still the same problem. All these basic fixes do not solve the problem. The other Mmods work. But this mmod and Downfall_mmod have the same error. There is a problem in the mmod software.

Does a little error message pop up after it crashes? if so, can you screenshot it for me, please?

Yes. Don't know how to add a screenshot here. When launching it says -
Engine Error

Could not load Library client. Try restarting.

I redownloaded it, and I don't have any problems with it, maybe it's just your computer, or something.. Make sure you have the latest version of MMod installed. Which is MMod 1.3. It runs off of MMod 1.3's "bin_episodic" binaries.

I have 1.3 installed. The other mmod's work, like Hangover and Liberation etc. Only RE and Downfall do not work. I can't see anything wrong with my computer. Somthing must be wrong in the MMod for RE.

I found the problem. There is a mistake in the gameinfo file for the 'gamebin' path. What is HL2MMod/bin_episodic? Once I changed this to HL2MMod/bin, the game ran. Don't know how you got it to run with the original path in RE_1.3. Downfall
also has the same error.

when they made 1.3 for MMod, they recreated the code entirely, and they seperated the mod binaries depending if your running a Half-Life 2 mod, or an Episode One, or Episode Two mod.

Sorry No idea what you mean, I don't see a folder called 'bin_episodic' anywhere.
It does not work unless you change path to HL2MMod/bin.

It's on your "HL2MMod" folder there should be one called bin, and bin_episodic.

Your best bet is to delete all your original MMod folders, download 1.3 again, then reinstall it.

Seems like this mod doesn't like a seperate harddrive on steam like MMOD (even though i've linked sourcemod). Moving all files to one drive fixed the issue
