Pokemod is total conversion of half-life in the pokemon universe (very first one). Choose 6 pokemon, compete vs other trainers in one of the arenas around the world!

- arena maps
- trainer models
- different pokemons
- each pokemon has 4 abilites to use
- effects like poison or sleep
I did not make this mod. I still want this to be present in moddb since it's not available anywhere else.

Pokemon in half life? You have my attention
I am one of the former team leaders of The Pokémod for Half-Life and Half-Life 2. We've halted development due to our inactivity (career development, life obligations, motivation changes, my incompetence, etc.), and eventually fully cancelled it as our projects no longer fulfilled a need as Game Freaks has been releasing 3D Pokémon games for years now. If we continued any portion of this game, we would disrespect Game Freaks and Nintendo for producing what we've always wanted to play. As such, there is no need to continue development when we have the official games as fantastic alternatives.
We believe the archived ModDB page of The Pokémod is enough for archiving purposes, and we don't need the demo available anymore. Thank you for keeping a piece of Half-Life modding history, but we believe it's best not to have this mod available anymore as there will be no further development on it, and the official games give us what we want anyway. Please remove this download and close the profile, and thank you for your understanding.
