NEW AFRIKA 43 EXCLUSIVE UNIT! THe Folgore are coming!
They look nice! Will have the helmet done as soon as possible.
Finally a proper Italian helmet in COH (even if only the airborne version).
The dream would be to have also the unique "Samurai" vest for the MAB 38 magazines (https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/52/91/79/5291794a209babf7621fe6bc819e6a49.jpg) used by the Italian Airborne troops.
I know there are other priorities but a gamer can dream...
if we get lucky we might have more than one real Italian helmet in game ;)
actually the samurai vest wasn't used in North Africa, i mean in battle, too hot, taking too much dust, and not practical when mostly you were crawling on the sand, the folgore used a pouch to gather their MAB magazines to protect them from the sand & dust, imagine you with this vest under +40°C... so in Afrika 43 this vest will not be in game, regarding the Folgore helmet its a work in progress, i just can tell you one thing about the Folgore, they will be excellent in close combat and equipped with incendiary weapons like in their famous and glorious defense of El Alamein.
Ok, I figured that vest would be too hot for Africa. It would have been nice for other fronts. Thanks for taking care of all the details, even for "minor" factions.
Italians in Afrika 43 isn't a minor Faction, Mortar squad, Sniper unit, Bersaglieri assault squad, Folgore assault squad, and maybe more stuff ;)
