i think undead should wear rags if they were killed like hunreds of years ago or so, and shields and helmets should be rusty etc.

I like everything about this except that the one skeleton is wearing only boots it looks kinda stupid
It's random distribution. You can get skeletons fully armored, nude, with mail or with boots. With or without helmet, and with several weapons.
It's the way MaB works...
