What is the movie we will be creating?
The video we will be recreating is the original Battlefield 1942 E3 Reveal Trailer. This video was used to showcase the original game, and I think it is fitting to recreate this with the HD Remaster Mod and show the world how far Battlefield 1942 has advanced. The goal is to get as close as possible to the original. I wish I could make it perfect, but that's just not possible, and I am alright with that. This video is also a way to commemorate the 20th Anniversary of BF1942. Who thought that this game would still be around kicking it with over 100 servers 20 years later!?!

Everyone who has played Battlefield 1942 before has seen some videos on YouTube, showing an epic moment or as they say a, "Only in Battlefield" moment. This video will be like that, and I hope that many people look at it, and give this mod a try. Not only does it help keep the community alive, but it brings in many new players who might not know the state Battlefield 1942 is in.

Conclusion
Finally, I would like to give a huge thank you to ScureHD for working on and prioritizing the Wake Island map in his graphics mod. Wake Island has been updated for recording this movie and is looking better than ever. It took a very long time to get everything to look nice and run successfully on a server. I delayed the project for these reasons, and I am glad I did. I would rather wait and have better quality, and now I am ready.
