Optional Compatibility patch for using MMH5.5 RC8b with New Creatures Framework. Read instructions below!
Community member Psatkha has created an optional compatibility patch for MMH5.5, that allows to add new creatures to the game from the NCF Project. The patch itself does not contain any new creatures, only the ability to add them. Only the .exe files with an _NCF extension can be used to play the game with new creatures.

Install the mod by unpacking the files in your TOE folder or drag the files to the appropriate folders manually. Using NCF requires a bit more knowledge about how to install mods as usual and since this part of HOMM5 is very hard to modify you MUST be aware of the following:
Any .exe file with _NCF extension has an NCF hack that causes the RMG to crash. Therefore the RMG cannot place NCF creatures. Maps must be generated with the default MMH55_Editor.exe or MMH55_Utility.exe. NCF Creatures can be added to a map by opening it in the MMH55_Editor_NCF.exe and then adding it to the map like regular creatures. Set the creatures to 'always join' to make them join your hero. The new creatures can mostly be found among the neutral creatures and possibly don't have an in-editor icon. After a map includes the new creatures it can no longer be played without those NCF creatures installed.
Previously stability issues have been reported when using NCF in Hotseat (have not encountered this myself), if those reports are true then this issue can only be solved by using MMH55_Utility_NCF.exe to play in Hotseat with NCF creatures.
If you suffer from any issues, first try deleting the index.bin file from your data folder that is auto generated by the RMG and doesn't match the index.bin from the NCF project.
