The mod isn't specifically dead, but it won't receive any updates any time soon.
I'm busy right now porting some of the aspects of the mod into a stand-alone counter-strike mod, but it will be a minigame sort of deal and not be it's own mod.
Help! Zombies! basically won't be a garry's mod gamemode, but instead be a gametype inside another big mod, kind of like how Zombie Mod is in Counter-Strike. More information might be released, depending on what I actually want to tell you guys and what I've gotten done, but for now the mod will be developed in secrecy.

I was playing your game mode and i noticed you had but one map! Its a great game mode and its a lot of fun (and has good music), and i also saw you needed a mapper, and i have been void of a job for quite some time.
I could show you some of my works or i could just get started right away with an idea you have or a sketch.
