Yes that's right. SCP-173-Neighbor is here and he is not friendly. This Hello Neighbor mod includes a complete AI overhaul of our Neighbor to replicate the beloved SCP-173, and a dark SCP Containment Zone version of Hello Neighbor's main level. You've been pulled deep into another dimension, now you must find your way out...
Each playthrough will be a different story of a dreadful escape, requiring exploration around the dark and terrifying neighbor's house to find randomly located keys. Difficulties of Normal and Hard are available. If you can make it through the exit door, your completion time and number of times you died trying to escape will be shown to you, and on the main menu you can find your fastest completion time and total number of deaths for all successful escapes.

You wake up in what seems like your boring, regular old house. But you quickly find out that something feels off, and you are not in the real world ... you are in SCP-173-Neighbor's world of torture. And the only way to escape this simulated hell and get back to reality is through the exit door:
-The keys to the exit door will be scattered around the neighbor's house randomly. You can find them at the glowing tables:
-You must naturally blink about every 10 seconds (or sooner on Hard). You can manually blink as well.
-SCP-173-Neighbor can move incredibly fast when he sees you, and snap your neck in an instant. But, the neighbor CANNOT move while in a direct line of sight. BLINKING or LOOKING AWAY will break the line of sight, and you will be killed instantly. If he sees you, but you can't see him ... you're dead. So stare at him like your neck depends on it! -If he kills you, you will wake up back in your house with your progress (and neck) intact.
-Check your corners slowly, and keep an eye on your blink meter. Opening a door or rounding a corner right before you have to blink is a risky move.
-When you spot him, back away quickly and get somewhere safely out of sight or behind a closed door. Always keep an eye in his general direction.
-He moves around a lot. If he cannot see you for long enough, he will get bored and move somewhere else. If you listen closely, you will hear the rattling sound signaling that he moved away.
Here's an example of why you're never safe...
-He cannot open doors (yet...), use them to block him out.
-Oh and one last thing, watch out for the locks on the ground on your way out...
