Description
This screenshot shows the diplomacy screen. Note the new 3 major factions that are China, Russia and NATO. On the left are listed the top producers of oil, as you can see there are no European countries there.

I wholeheartedly agree with this.
This mod takes place during the age of 'the battle of cultures', the battle between western ideals of enlightment and islamic fundamentalism.
Hell, the mod header even has a face of Bin Laden, so you already consider him one of the most influential persons of the time. Fascism (if we talk about the original movement) pretty much died out and instead we have the ideology of Fundamentalism which grew in support worldwide, islamic terror organizations (like AL-Quaida) train guerillas and assassins in africa and the middle east while they got tons of sympathizers in the west who can occasionally form terrorist cells too, also they can subvert rebel groups and insert governments they wish.
Besides since the collapse of the SU, Russia is no real superpower anymore and pales in comparison to USA and China. Although i agree that they are a bit special by being formally a western style democracy which has bad relations with Nato and on the other hand drives towards theocracy (they would be a good middle ground in my opinion). Transnational terrorism is the invisible and difficult to contain worldpower of the 21th century.

Mrmm, I believe Russia should be "Commonwealth of Independent States".
You should look into making the faction names more to their comparison. NATO is fine, but I would suggest Russia be changed to "Eastern Europe Pact" or something of such. The actual faction name shouldn't be the head nation.

Just to let you know dude that Russia is in something called CSTO (Collective Security Treaty Organization. It was created after the fall of the USSR, and consists of Russia, Belarus, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan. So perhaps that could replace the "Russia" Faction.
