Hardwar: Tactics
Probably the most contriversial Soldat mod ever created, Hardwar: Tactics features over 100 weapons and an installer. Each weapon has its own statistics and descriptions, and most weapons can be placed in more than one slot. (i.e., placing semi-auto rifles in the pistol slot, heavy machine guns in the assault rilfe slot)
Where does the contriversy come from? BladeRunner created the weapons by scaling down images of the real guns, creating unique graphics. Most Soldat weapons are sprites, so other modders got mad.

So anyhow, the new version of Hardwar:TACTICS has about 30 more cool weapons added,
plus a new "choose your war" feature allowing you to directly control the entire weapon ini
file (after choosing the weapons you want) resulting in a cross-the-board toning down of the
game experience! (all the bullet speeds and damages are directly affected by a fixed scale)

OFFICIALLY
when ever i try to run this program it gives me this "Component 'COMDLG32.OCX' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid" can somebody help me or tell me whats wrong please!
You need the Visual Basic runtime files to support the application (after all it IS written in VB)...
Google the OCX files and download the applicable ones you need to the installed directory AND OR your system folder(s).
There is a war going on out there.... And it ain't easy!

Hm, if dl these files for my Win 7 64 OS and put them where they seem to belong, but it still won't work ether on my PC.
Any further advice or even a detailed tutorial on how to fix this? Would be much appreciated!
this is most likely the best soldat mod out there and its easy to use, that is if u no to clik tactics when its flashing black and white

I hope you all at least try this mod once in conjuction with Soldat and test out the realistic devistation,
(ROF, Bullet speed, projectile damage, HUGE weapon selection) which is really hard to find in nearly all
other available Soldat mods!!!

Probably not, it was not received well at all by the "main stream" community.
As Xtishereb mentioned at the top of this page, it was poo-poo'ed for being too different from the boring norm, despite being the FIRST to incorporate a huge range of weapons in a kick-*** interface (with funky music) ... cool eh?
... plus I wouldn't suck up to any of them.
