This mod is based on books by Karen Travis. It follows the story of Delta 38 "Boss" and Delta Squad throught the clone wars. It is an expansion to default story with weapons , characters and missions from books , expanded universe and movies.

It's been a long wait but we are back with a new update.

Firstly I would like to wish you merry christmas and happy new year

Secondly, I would like to talk a bit to you about mod's development.

Thanks to volunteers, we have gained quite a sizeable team with more members possibly joining in the future. So just expect a lot more updates because there is now more of us.

Another thing I would like to mention is that I have started modelling a rather interesting Star Wars weapon from the 2003 Clone Wars series that will make an appearance in the mod. It's the Reprociprocating Quad Blaster a.k.a. Cip-Quad. The model is still pretty rough but I will post some proper images once it gets finished.

Another thing I would like to tell you about are the weapon sounds and functions.

Blasters are never reloaded on screen in movies. In some cases (like DC15S Carbine), it is very obvious. However then there are more surprising weapons.

DC15A has got about 3 things on it that look like magazines but surprise surprise... It is reloaded in a very similar way to the concussion rifle.



Staying true to the pre 2008 Legends lore is pretty important for us so we will be trying to get as much information on the weapons in the mod as possible to make them truly feel tactical. Republic Commando puts a lot of emphasis on gun handling. Each weapon has got uniquely sounding foley effects and unique animations, which simply just makes each Blaster sound differently. You might have seen me bring up Clone Wars 2003 a lot. We took a lot of inspiration from it for the Republic Weapons as I feel like it really shows how Blasters work plus it contains one of the few appearances of E5S Sniper Rifle so we used the footage as a base for how it sounds.

Basically another one of the major things about blasters is that when you handle them and reload them they should sound properly. We will be mixing the in game foley with external sounds to achieve that. A follow up video on this will be released.
