A Halo mod for the critically acclaimed Sins of a Solar Empire, that aims to capture the fast paced intensity of the Halo series.
Here Redleader102 and I took 31 UNSC ships against one another. This is primarily a demo of the new effects Dhoulmegus has cooked up for us. You'll see lots of MAC fire and plenty of missiles (and this is after I've cut the number of missiles in salvos in half due to performance issues).
As this video will show, the mod is still Work In Progress. You'll notice a few areas where the textures for explosions screw up, among a few other things. Still have some polishing to do, but you guys really wanted a video and I'm a sucker for the fans.

I can honestly say I have never been more pumped for a MOD. The work you have done is FANTASTIC, and whether or not you release it tomorrow, or a year from now, I just wanted to say I'm glad some people gave some much needed love to this aspect of halo. Thank you <3

What was the big ship on the far left until about 1:30 when it left the battle, an Orion? I ask because that beast took 10 or 11 MAC rounds!
It is the Orion. They were mostly frigate shots, which is important to consider.

I loved this video thank you for releasing it, however i did notice something odd. I don't know if its already being worked on or if its been addressed yet or what but at around 1:40 2 ships on the far right of the screen are heading to the top as the second one approaches the top of the screen it fires a mac round at a near 90 degree angle to the actual ship. is it supposed to have a crazy firing arc like that?
Unfortunately we can't control firing arcs. They are 180 degrees and there is nothing reasonable that we can do about it.
What were the fleet compositions?
