Will this be the covenant fighter and the seraph as the bomber

It's a possibility. May also be planetary defense.

I would personally prefer the anti fighter option rather than planetary defense since these were used during the fall of reach to attack anchor 9

That is the likely choice.

Could always try it like Sins of a Galactic Empire with Light/Heavy fighters and bombers. Example being Imperials got TIE Fighters/Interceptors with TIE Bombers and XG-1 Starwings.

I say this because I can't really see the Seraph as a bomber, I've always heard of it being a space supremacy starfighter.

Were this approach applied to the UNSC there could be something like Saber/Broadsword for fighters and Longsword/Pelican Gunship (like Halo 4's) for bombers/strike craft.

Just a thought is all. Sure it'd be more work but it could be something to look at.

For now, it's very likely the T-27 will be anti-fighter and Seraph will be bomber, given the relative fire power and hull strength.

With the fuel rod maybe it could remain multipurpose with no alternative option and only allow the Seraph for heavy capitals kind of how sabers were exclusive to the anchor and were superior to the long sword/short sword? Because really I see the seraph as fighter supremacy or maybe (I know this has probably been discussed already) use the celestes in CaW or however it's spelled as a bomber?

I wish the covenant did a better job with making new things other than copy-pasting and using the enlarging tool but I guess it's always fun letting the fan base make the universe I mean I couldn't imagine a better job than what you guys are doing.

I'm not sure you completely understand enough about Covenant as you should before posting that and I wasn't speaking about the banshee in particular I mean other ships too cause they all look very similar and the biggest difference is usually size

PS: the banshee they use on the ground is the same design as this with small changes

Thats the point, I said its not a PURE COPY PASTE, the rear of the vehicle is diffrent. Why don't you fully read things before going on a rant. I am talking about THIS specific picture.

Why don't you not be as nit picky then if you really understood? I assure you I read your comment in it's entirety and am confused why you didn't seem to understand in your post

Just don't start. Just don't I'm sure a lot of people don't want to have a internet fight that takes up half a page and don't insult my eloquency when you have nothing else to come back at me with.

Wouldn't a Banshee using its Fuel Rod gun be a better option for a bomber? The Seraph is such an elegant design, build for speed and fast attacks. Much more a fighter in my mind.

Seraphs also have them. One presumes larger ship means larger gun.

Actually Seraphs don't have a fuel rod. They have pulse lasers though.

You're right, I stupidly looked at the halo.wikia page rather than Halopedia. I cannot live with my shame.

Even on the original Halo 2 Seraph there wasn't a fuel rod gun.

This can be debateable, the original seraph was outfitted with different guns for different situations, the pulse laser, heavy plasma cannons and plasma charge were for anti fighter sitautions, the fuel rod gun was for more on anti armor operations.

Description

The Type-27 Exoatmospheric Multirole Fighter, informally known as the Space Banshee, is the Covenant Navy's standard space interceptor support craft. It is a vacuum-sealed variant of the Type-26 Banshee ground support aircraft that is designed exclusively for exoatmospheric operations.

The craft sports two heavy plasma cannons, which are elongated in comparison with those of the Type-26's standard model, providing greatly increased range and firepower. A fuel rod cannon is mounted at the front of the fuselage.
