A Halo mod for the critically acclaimed Sins of a Solar Empire, that aims to capture the fast paced intensity of the Halo series.
Something I like to do when I have a little free time is go to the Steam community area for Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion and look at the public screenshots sorted by most recent. I always see some from SotP and it feels good to know that so many people are playing our little Halo mod. Here are some of my favorite shots from my last lookthrough.
As a small tip, because I see this issue so much: Holding Shift+Ctrl+Z will toggle the HUD, that in combination with the cinematic view button at the top of the HUD will allow you to take completely clean screenshots like the one's below, without any HUD or UI elements in the view.
If you're particularily proud of your own screenshots and think they should be seen by a larger audience, stop by our gallery thread in our forum and link to them there: Sinsoftheprophets.com
Note that we don't host the images, so you'll have to upload them to somewhere like imgur.com first and just link to them in the gallery.
Do you even RAM!?
Honestly, a shot like this doesn't need much RAM.
what. the. hell. why do you NEED so many and also HOW???
Yeah, people tell me "you use a small fleet" when my fleet tends to be max capital ships and max all other ships in a fairly balanced manner (as in balances like "4 repair ships to every 18 other ships, so many light frigates per group of ship type X, etc"). I play on large fleet sizes and max my population, and get told my fleet is "small" :O Another thing. Is it just me, or are screenies of this game really, really dark and hard to see the detail in? My monitor is set to be fairly bright and these shots look almost pitch black, getting slightly brighter when I enlarge. D:
Some skyboxes have lighting issues.
This is from one of my games, two of the covenant AI decided to mass their two fleets together around an adjacent planet from mine. I threw my entire UNSC Fleet to its defense. Luckily...the Covenant had it's own problems.
Here's a few more screenshots of the armada:
