Marathon-class Heavy Cruiser Redux image - Sins of the Prophets mod for Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion
A Halo mod for the critically acclaimed Sins of a Solar Empire, that aims to capture the fast paced intensity of the Halo series.
With the release of Halo 2 Anniversary and Halo: Fleet Battles, some distinct changes were made to the Marathon-class Heavy Cruiser's model that we felt couldn't be ignored. Previously, the ship basically looked like a carrier with her side being devoted to hangar doors. Now those areas have been "greebled" up and hangars have been moved to less obvious spaces. In an effort to keep up with the canon and move some of our older ships closer to Malcontent1692's art style (and fix some issues with width), we've updated our Marathon model to reflect their current view.
However, fret not, classic fans, because the older Marathon variant from Annihilater102 will stick around in the mod for more specific roles related to our hero system.
YES!!!! HERO SYSTEM, and oh yeah the model looks great.
