Description
Well, this is the 3rd version of the Mako so far, and people generally seem to like this one. A common complaint was the nose and the wings, and both have been removed/changed. You may also notice some slick Point-Defense guns added on.

I remember in the 40s when everyone complained about how much of an Essex ripoff the Midway class was.

The whole point of UNSC design is spartan, no pun intended. Plain unassuming and just straight to the point.
Yea, any beauty it might have is totally accidental. :P
Most modern militaries are spartan and to the point.
that explains the fog hat grey color scheme.
i think it should have the bottom prong from the other design with the top prong of this one, so that the top prong is a little longer. if i had to guess i would say about 35-40 percent smaller than the top piece.

I like it quite a lot. It looks like (cant really judge the size) a Halcyon class that was striped of all that made it expensive... and a cruiser. A Halcyon-mini of sorts... just my opinion.
It's much smaller. Think frigate-sized.

this is no corvette its a mini pillar of autumn the other concepts were way more corvette looking than this.
pretty cool, especially the gun on the side, but the split nose thing was still really cool.
I want both the no winged version, and this one in the game...
Me thinks that you should take the previous nose, cut it in half by taking the top part away and keeping the bottom, and put it under what looks like the front of a mini Halcyon. I think that would probably help put down the copy and nose arguments out of commission. What do you other people's think? But I kinda like V1 and V2 better. What other differences were there between V1 and V2 besides the wings? I couldn't see anymore besides maybe the thruster edit.
