A Halo mod for the critically acclaimed Sins of a Solar Empire, that aims to capture the fast paced intensity of the Halo series.
Peppered throughout the galaxy are reminders that another Empire once ruled millennia ago. Those remnants that are found are often small mining facilities in particularly sparse systems.
Some believe the Forerunners preferred desolate places. Others suggest that few other sites survived the Flood.
A belated thanks to Bornstellar for the model and Zero of Homefront (https://www.moddb.com/mods/halo-homefront) for the texture, as well.
I understand that this is just a simple mining facility or something like that, but I don't care. It doesn't change the fact that I think this looks freaking epic.
Glad your enthusiasm isn't lost.
HELL YEAH NEUTRAL MINING FACILITIES BRO
I am going to be capturing the living daylights out of those things then.
Quite proud of that model I am.
You've done excellent work.
Millennia 2.5 without incident, "Slip space rupture detected" flood inbound..........well, there goes the neighborhood
That description reference from Halo 2 is fantastic, takes me back.

Also what's with the shading?
Damn, I'm an asshat. My excuse is that it was midnight.
The shader is due to tangent mapping, but I've already sorted that out afterwards.
Even with the shading as it is, it's still a decent picture
damn this looks beautiful

Looks like ****!
Looking through your comments...you are a ****** person. Have all my downvotes.
Oh wow, he's definitely proud of his "Bachelor's in Computer Animation and Design". Nice one, pleb.
Computer Science degree all day, son.
We're having these, will the mod feature the Precursors as extras or something? Easter eggs?
