'Halo: Ring of Destruction' is a codename for our total conversion mod for HL2. The game won't be identical to Halo, but will have some minor similarities. There were many things I disliked in Halo and they include boring (easyish) gameplay, basic appearances of maps and the repetiveness of both map areas and characters. Hopefully, all of this will be improved with the mod. We had worked a fair bit on the 'Pillar of Autumn' for Singleplayer and had got a few Multiplayer maps made. However, due to copyright infringement issues we are unable to keep it as you see in the pictures. Much will change including storyline, characters, locations etc. If you're wondering whether the hell we know what we're doing, on our private forums we have discussed the entire story, had some of our own concept drawn out, thought about new names and variations and also come up with some unique ideas. One of the big changes with this mod is that it will be supporting co-op gameplay....

looks pretty good, but you should probably fix the nut cup seems a little big, looks like it sticks out farther than master cheifs chest.

Is that textured? And you made the bumps by bumps? Or did you actually model those bumps?
I hope you've used some texturing there 'cos otherwise its got a sh*tload of polygons.
But yeah, it looks pretty awesome.

Yes, it's a bump map on it :P. No it's not textured. Yes, it's got a A** load of ploys
But remeber, we all love Lod's! That way the ones with the kick *** can get the main character model of 2 million tries, and the ones with the crappy computer get the 800 tris. ;)

Wow, at first I was almost sure this was taken, look on page 4 of The Art Of Halo:Creating a virtual world, look almost the same.
But I noticed some little difrences, such as in the hands, so... SWEET MODEL!

Stolen model from half life 2 on xbox im quite sure.
I modded halo 2 for 2 years, i was the first to get working models into halo 2 xbox and i am certian that is stolen.
Not only is it 100% perfect, but you happen to choose the exact same pose the model from halo 2 xbox is expoted in?
