Okay so I know I'm a day late, but I'm ashamed of the modding community for not having any April Fools hijinks.
Anyways, April Fools, because it's never going to happen!
I knew this was April fools as soon as I saw the name very clever but I wasn't fooled. Also April 3rd?

people are demanding to have the UNSC Infinity in the mod, but the dev team isn't going to add the UNSC Infinity to the mod, so the update "UNSC Infinity" is the April fools joke, and to complete it they just paste a copy past of the Infinity in this image. Do you get the joke now ?

Good as Halo 4 sucked so badly, who would want that ship in the mod. I'd take the ship from Halo wars over the Infinity any day.

Halo Reach, 4 and "Anniversary" was just silly. And an Aprils fools joke in itself with their canon.

Anniversary is silly with the.canon? Its the same.as Halo CE.
but it was part of the lore and was supposed to be humanities last stand if earth fell.
What's wrong, not allowed to hate Halo 4. I mean we got bad halo games after Halo 3 with ODST, Reach and now 4. Halo wars is a better game than all those three combined but here isn't the place to mention all this stuff so I'll stop.
Halo 4 wasn't that bad. There were some things I didn't like but a lot of things I did like.

Halo 3 was the best Halo game in my opinion. Halo 4 story failed, but the guns, graphics, and online were just awesome. However, Halo 3 and Halo 4 both fall short when it comes to forge maps. Forge Island doesn't compare to Forge World.

WORD!! Halo 2 is where ALL the actual canon is created. It is where we first find out ANY information about how things look on earth or within the covenant (Prophets! Admiral Hood!), ALL vessels except Halcyons and CSS-Cruisers are first featured here, it takes place on an immense diversity of worlds, and you get to play the F*KIN ARBITER!!
Halo 3 wasn't the best but it's good. Halo 4's story did not fail! It's one of the best plot ever (It's just that there's too much buttons needed to be pushed in the Campaign) if you called it bad, what more of Halo Reach (The story is just not as good as the others)? Personally, I think Halo 3 ODST had the best story!

NOOOOO I NEED THE INFINITY!! What if they could put in a Flagship mode where the covenent would have an equally OP ship, and if your Flagship dies you lose the battle
metaphorically, even though the Infinity is big I still doubt it could take down a Covenant supercarrier or assault carrier. Those things are tanks :3
The Infinity was made using a TON of Forerunner tech, and uses it tons better that the covenent ever did, 1v1 I would go for the Infinity
No it doesn't, the engines and shielding is the only Forerunner tech in the ship. Everything else is reverse engineered from Covenant designs and innovations on the UNSC's part. Besides, plasma negates shields to begin with so the kinetic weapons on the Infinity would take longer to down an Assault Carrier's shields while the Assault Carrier's energy projector would cut through Infinity's shields like tissue paper.

No, in the lore the plasma shields were never negated by plasma fire, and besides,the Infinity has TWO energy projectors and a SMAC
Where does it say in any source that the Infinity has two energy projectors and one SMAC?
Halo 4 and in the Limited Edition, hell, you see them fire the projectors in the game
343's ship specifications list four MACs, no energy projectors and definately no SMAC.
Plasma does not negate shields, as shown by the plasma weapons in-game. The Infinity was designed to single-handedly beat back the covenant. I seriously doubt they would design a ship to do that when it could get 1-shotted by the covenant.
Yes it does, plasma is highly effective against shields and enough torpedoes can overwhelm a shield just like an overcharged plasma pistol shot. It's way more effective than MACs.
Plasma taking down shields effectively is much different than "ignoring" shields. "Ignoring" shields would be like passing straight through them without affecting them, which is not the case.
em...I thought you wouldn't add this ship as you said this mod was set before Reach?
