What's supposed to be so bad about Halo 4 canon?

You know in my eyes it's honestly just a bunch of immature butthurt fanboys crying that bungie wasn't the one who made it. They jsut seem to bash it solely because 343 made it and they will find the tiniest fault and amplify it to the extremes.

While I agree in most respects, my main gripe with 343i's take on the Halo universe is that they threw out the old design memes and just took elements from Crysis, MGS and made the UNSC look like the future Russian space agency. Granted, the people making the game primarily worked on Crysis and MGS, but I just don't like how the new ships, armor and vehicles look. I do like the weapons, however.

Also having three different types of CCS and calling them different names... that's what gets me the most. That and the Autumn-class Cruiser...

Don't get me wrong, though, I enjoyed the Forerunner trilogy and the Kilo 5 saga thus far.

Yeah, and they are just as dedicated to the fans, just as much as bungie were.

Uh... you don't know what you're talking about, do you? The UNSC is definitely no Russian space agency. Russians conquer, mind you. The UNSC is peaceful - a total opposite.
There aren't many differences in the vehicle designs in Halo 4, they look almost the same just with massive graphical upgrades. The ships look better and more futuristic, like the Infinity-class, Strident-class, Autumn-class (The ships in Halo did look extremely well made, but Halo 4's ships look a lot better to me).

And what's your apparent problem with the Autumn-class? It's a heavy cruiser with the same features that the Pillar of Autumn had but with increased armor quality and effectiveness rating...

Description

Now I know what you're all thinking, "But Zero, the new Halo 4 canon is trash, why are you including it in the mod??" Well I'm glad you asked because personally I thought a 300m long CCS was pretty poopy myself. However, I made two textures for the CCS when I did the Halo 4 CCS (apparently its a 3000m CCS called the RCS, don't get me going on Halo 4 lore guys just please don't), and just decided to re-color the regular one purple. This model is also unique since it has a lot of the minor mesh details on the CCS such as those boxes and rails on the undersides removed, as well as some front fins, in order to make it look more like the Halo CE/2 era CCS. Kind of an interesting homage, right?

The CRS will be classified as a corvette for obvious reasons. Armament still pending, most likely half of what the CCS has and without an energy projector. Will also be "unshielded."
