I have this whole mod set out but all I have in mind is we use halo 1-3 and we will use models from those games, However I need an exporter for this, If we get the demo our job will be ten times easier considering all we would need to do is fix some of the veichles, Add in some stuff and blam.
We will have the usual three factions UNSC, Flood , And the covenant
The UNSC will be spilt up to five multi sections. ONI Military, Naval ODST and the spartans.
The spartans will feature the infamous Redvsblue characters

Dude, be real here. If you just rolled up to Fort Knox and asked for gold, would they give it to you? No. If you make a mod page to try and get other people to give you their work, will they? No. Don't get me wrong, every time I see cool mods I can't get access to I feel bumped, but there are dozens of others, so what if they're not Halo? Respect Apone and co.'S work and learn how to make your own mod.

I may be wrong but I do believe that you cannot just export models from a game....unless you promise to make your own models from start to finish....correct?
We are going to customize it a bit yes, Make it all uncanon to the books and game.
Porting content from games really depends on what the game company, publisher, or owner of the IP policy is. I'd imagine Halo's is pretty restrictive and wouldn't allow porting of their content, but I could be wrong.
