Greetings to our incredible community! It's been an exhilarating journey since our last official update in 2019, where we announced the formation of Chokepoint Games and unveiled our renowned mod, Sins of the Prophets. Fast forward to the present, and we're thrilled to share the latest developments on our ongoing project, Evolutions, and introduce the exciting addition of Far Isle.

In 2020, we were on the brink of releasing Evolutions when internal testing revealed a significant hurdle – crashes occurring approximately 10 minutes into gameplay. Undaunted, we decided to overhaul the code from scratch, prioritizing robustness and stability.
To ensure a seamless gaming experience, we've rigorously tested various scenarios, including AI vs AI (UNSC vs UNSC, Covenant vs Covenant, and UNSC vs Covenant) and Player vs AI. Our commitment to excellence extends to testing different difficulty levels and AI behavior modes, such as Steamroller and Turtle behavior.
With the introduction of Far Isle, our new Halo-themed mod for ARMA, we took the opportunity to create a universal UNSC vehicle material. This material now serves as the foundation for all our UNSC vehicle assets, with even lower quality models like the Warthog and Scorpion tank receiving meticulous re-modeling and texturing.

Our dedication to optimization led us to revamp the UV maps of older models. Take the Mantis, for instance, which previously utilized three separate UV maps. By consolidating them into a single map, we've not only improved visual fidelity but also tackled memory constraints, crucial for seamless gameplay within the limitations of Command and Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars.
As we inch closer to our first release, the finishing touches involve perfecting particles and fine-tuning the game balance. Although destruction animations and debris models are currently pending, rest assured, we're committed to delivering a polished product without compromising on quality.

Exciting news on the collaboration front! JumperScape, renowned for breathing life into innovative ideas, is assisting us with top-notch voice acting. Their impressive portfolio includes The Library, TERMINALS, Tarkov: A Halo Story, and more. Follow them on Discord, Patreon, Spotify, and YouTube to discover the incredible content they're creating.
While we don't have gameplay footage for the ongoing Mod of the Year (MOTY) voting stage, your support remains crucial. We've been hard at work behind the scenes, polishing particles, fine-tuning game balance, and perfecting every detail for our upcoming release.
Your vote can make a significant impact, and we want to express our gratitude for your continued enthusiasm. Even without a visual sneak peek, your trust and anticipation mean the world to us. Click the link below to cast your vote and be part of our journey.
Stay tuned for more updates and exciting announcements. Together, let's shape the future of gaming!
Three of Halo's most popular strategy game mods join forces to create Chokepoint Games, a fan dev studio, and tease a new joint project: an ARMA 3 mod.
Evolutions made it in the top 100 for the second time. Like wow I didnt expected that to happen this year.

Suddenly reminds me of the dead 'ol Halogen mod.
this is no halogen there is an other mod that have all assets we use some of the public released one by spyvspy and would replace this in the first release of Halo Evolutions.
(buried)
Actually the story-lines good but overall it sucks so yes Garbage!!
which story line?
Why does that carryall seem so familiar to me...
its remodeld
Nice to see that someone is making another HALO mod for generals. Just be carefull because Microsoft don't want any strategy HALO mods. Just don't expose too much this mod.
I hope you can finish. I naver played Halo. But i would like to see a strategy mod that add halo units to generals.
Good luck
No Halogen was canceled due to Microsoft not wanting to have two Halo RTS games out at the same time, you see they were creating one themselves.
actually they shut halogen down, because the Halogen team supposedly ripped models and textures from the Halo games (without permission)...that's a big no no, unless you find the acceptable use policy (which the creator of this mod needs to do) or get permission from Microsoft and Bungie (or that), its a gray line that divides what is right and wrong legally, but personally i think it needs to go away, lol and also, Microsoft working on Halo Wars probably influenced the decision to shut Halogen a little
thest funny because non of it looks like bungie models or even bungie textures take an good look at the halo textures from bungie and the one from halogen.
Bungie doesn't own the rights to Halo. Its all Microsoft's IP.
not anymore, last time i checked Bungie retains ownership and SOME rights to the Halo franchise, why? idk....
well then it has changed...Microsoft once agian owns all rights to Halo...again...i tell u what though i think microsoft needs to stick with making computers....evrytime they get a good game they have this bad habit of ******* it up..now i give them credit..halo is ok...i prefer Crysis...dont even start the ******* fanboy wars...crysis is crysis and halo is halo...they both have things about them that are good..
true but since 343studios is going to take over Halo they and Microsoft game Studios are going to get it back.
