The buildings seem too bright. Perhaps less gamma?

Firstly this is a cool base. Secondly Would it be possible to put the infantry in a squad? Because I played Halo Wars 1 before and it is awesome when you have a squad.

Ps. the texture of the base needs a little more tweaking or maybe less gamma.

They were originally but they decided to make them single units instead.

I still have issues with the exposed treads and fuel tanks on that tank.

But still having a squad makes it have that feel of CNC3 and Halo Wars at the same time.

Yeah, but you have to admit that the squad system in C&C3; was lazily made where instead of it being an actual squad (something like this: Sites.google.com Infantry Squad.png) it's just the same individual but grouped up to look like a squad. It is possible to modify the infantry to be actual squads instead of looking like squads. It has been done before by the Alternate Warfare mod team. I'm assuming that most mods don't bother with the infantry is because they're a hassle to deal with and, lets be honest, they have little in the way of long term usefulness. The only two infantry types that are, are the missile squads and engineers.

somehow I agreed with you. except if we make the regular infantry to be able to do certain thing that only they are specialized at, they will be useless especially in late game. In this kind of game (cnc style rts) usually the vehicle and aircraft will shine the most. the ea does try to get over with with squad mechanic, but they apparently not work as intended. one good example of good squad mechanic is in company of heroes or dawn of war. since a squad of infantry is so versatile

I wonder how the game will play with just one soldier. kind of felt special having a squad and whatnot in c&c3; unlike red alert.

Looking awesome! I agree with the other comments about the textures of the buildings, probably due to that they look really clean in comparison to the vehicles. Vehicles are much darker, I kinda like more the buildings textures over the vehicle ones imho, textures are much appreciated and seem to be of higher resolution just due to that reason. The cleaner texture style of the buildings makes it look more to hw2 style:

Now then about people requests about infantry squads. You said you wanted to make factions more different, and for that reason unsc has no longer any infantry squads. But wouldnt it be a better feature for the covenant? Think about it this way: covenant has many more different infantry units to choose from, instead of making a squad of 4 grunts and 1 elite for instance, Why couldnt you recruit those units individually?

For example, I just want elites, but they also come with grunts in a squad, wouldnt it be better to get each of them individually? Then why does the unsc does not have squads? Unlike the covenant all the infantry is the same, wouldnt they perform better as a group? You can still choose from normal marines, odsts and spartans (as well as heavy weapons) but that is nowhere near like the covenant, which has many different races and types of weapons.

If you select them individually you would be able to choose the weapons that are going to be usee while unsc would use a combination of weapons in their squads. I am pretty sure you have already thought about all of this, I am just explaining my point of view and see if others agree or disagree.

I very much agree with that concept. It would make (to me) much more sense if the covenant were to have individual units instead of squads. Even from a lore standpoint it makes sense, I especially would like to have a custom load out of troops for a situation, and with the many different races the covenant choose from an individual unit would make more sense.

Perhaps it would be possible to train individual units and then form them into squads? Perhaps using a mechanic similar to the Buzzer/vehicle combination? That would allow for some interesting and unique combinations while letting players decide if they want individual troops or squads for various tasks.
