IDK the politics over at Bungie but I think they should expand from the Xbox, but that's just a dedicated PC gamer's bias. Also, this map really reminds me of the Command and Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars maps, which I personally liked a lot. More detailed than the stock Forces of Corruption maps.

i hope they get back to their roots and make more PC games. make another big strategy game. they should prove that they can make many blockbuster hits, not just Halo (even if Halo was a 'cultural phenomenon' by wikipedia).

Marathon saw quite a bit of success...even before people latched onto it because of the references in Halo. A game like Halo (which I would indeed consider a cultural phenomenon) is a very rare thing though. I don't expect them to have success like that again.

All the CnC maps are great. It's ironic though since the folks at Petroglyph are remnants of Westwood after the EA buyout.

Oh my. Tis New Mombassa......... Sweet. If we can get a night version (like in ODST) then that would be even more epic!

H*** S*** Thats comming along amazingly, I expected an "urban" map much like EaW where its just a bunch of path and metal walls, but that looks like a real RTS map.

still those lanes bug me a lot lol

one question: Are those markings? I mean are they painted on lanes OR are they lamps built into the road?

IF they are painted on I would higly suggest to add some wear to them on the sides. See here Onlyhdwallpapers.com

IF they are lamps then maybe give them some inside glow

Description

Most of you will recognize the bridge in this vid as the one I've been showing in the screenshots. Took some advice and slightly changed the size/glow of the street lines, increased the size of the street lamps and then, just because I thought it looked cooler, I changed the lighting/time of day to sunset. The map still has a long ways to go....obviously and there are a lot of props that still need to be made. Stay tuned for more. Feeback welcome, as always.
